MUSEUM COLLECTIONS

The MAMC+ collections contain more than 20,000 works. They include a majority of works from the 20th century but also a collection of ancient art, design and photography. The collections require adapted conservation conditions which explains why it is not possible to display certain master pieces permanently. Certain of these pieces are moreover loaned to other national and international museums for temporary exhibitions. A display based on a regular rotation in the exhibition rooms enables the visitor to catch a glimpse of the full extent of the collection. In this interface of research the MAMC+ provides free access to around 15,000 works.
